Even they are left spaces privileged where the nature follows its course , changes , evolves by itself.
¿ But what happened when the uncontrolled human activity modifies the elements ?
¿ What should happenes if the Iberian Lynx dissappeaed ?
The Iberian lynx is the most endangered feline on the planet. There are now only about one hundred and fifty in the wild, and less than 10% of them are females of breeding age.
In order to prevent the extinction of the Iberian lynx, a group of Spanish scientists directed by Doctor Astrid Vargas is carrying out an ambitious project whose aim is to reintroduce a sufficient number of lynxes into the wild to guarantee the survival of the species.
“Saving the Lynx” introduces us to the work of these scientists at the “El Acebuche” centre in the Doñana National Park, in Andalusia, where we will witness the birth of the first litter of Iberian lynxes in captivity.
With doctor Vargas, we will analyse the causes that lead to the disappearance of the lynx, and we will find out about the measures that need to be adopted so that the most representative felines of Iberian fauna can once again live in the wild in our forests.
