Due to old beliefs, biblical stories and ancestral taboos that still persist in our days, the leprosy sick persons have suffered and they continue suffering, the isolation and the exclusion of their fellow. During centuries their reject has come forging, based on the fear and the ignorance about one more of the infectious illnesses in existence. The contribution of experiences and so much opinions of those affected by the illness and the representatives of the different implied communities, is the narrative base of the documentary. In this way the spectator has an objective information offered directly by his main characters. The treatment of the documentary is based on the transmission of positive messages about cure and rehabilitation of the sick persons as a hope to eradicate this illness from the planet, with the help of all of us. Therefore the images of the documentary don't inspire feelings of horror and punishing, it shows the positive side of the achievements obtained in the cure and rehabilitation of those affected.
